new skies
is an installation that reimagines the myth of Icarus in the context of today’s technological ambitions. Anchored by a grounded, wing-like sculpture and a network of digital and physical elements, the work reflects on the human desire to transcend natural limits—especially through emerging technologies like mind uploading and digital immortality. Drawing connections between ancient myth and contemporary realities, New Skies explores the fragile line between progress and hubris. A light-filled sculptural landscape, posthuman imagery, and a looping video of auroras hint at both the potential and the precarity of our digital futures.
